Cultural heritage gives people pleasure and inspiration and may contribute to their identity, especially in unstable and conflict areas. Therefore it is important that (young) people are aware of the surroundings they are living in and that people shape their own view of life in the concerning area in the past, present and future. The Cultural Heritage and Education project aims to produce educational material for teachers and students about the mutual relationship between them and their living environment and the importance of the preservation of related cultural heritage for future generations.
