Support line of the student counsellors office
Problems studying from home? Struggling with your motivation? Financial concerns? Worried about the health of family members or friends?
The student counsellors are there to help you!
We advise you to make an appointment with the student counsellor as soon as possible so that you can discuss your situation. From Tuesday to Friday between 10 and 12 hrs. you are welcome to phone the support line of the student counsellors office: 088-4813322 to let them know about your need for advice or assistance, so that an appointment with a student counsellor can be made. You can also send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive a reply as soon as possible.
Please also contact your General Practitioner or the GGD when you have Covid-related symptoms or if you have been in contact with someone who is tested positive on Covid. Make sure you keep all your correspondence as evidence of this situation. May we remind you that on cases of emergency, we advise you to contact your General Practitioner immediately.
Study on Location at the HU
The HU Library location Utrecht has 418 study spots and the location Amesfoort has 62 study spots available. You can reserve a study spot in advance via the online reservation system.

During the corona crisis financial support is possible. Check the page on finances for more information about possible arrangements. The HU offers a weekly online financial consultation hour for help and advice on financial worries. And don’t hesitate to consult the student counsellor via the support line or email@example.com if you need help to find out what the possibilities for support are in your specific situation.

You’ll never walk alone. Especially in these uncertain times, it can be nice to go for a walk and chat with someone. That is why we offer you a free of charge opportunity to get in touch with other HU students while going for a walk. At huwalks.nl you can meet with other students (face-to-face) and arrange to go for a walk. We will help you exchange contact information so you can set a place and time. Get to know new people while getting some fresh air and discover new places in Utrecht at the same time!
