Due to COVID-19, we have arranged online information sessions through Microsoft Teams on 11 March from 1.30 – 4.15 p.m.
Are you a student from an other Dutch higher education institution? Please check the minor course offer at www.kiesopmaat.nl, because not all HU minor courses will be offered via Kies op Maat. Select four minor courses that meet your wishes and interests and are taught in the appropriate period. Please also check the entry requirements. As of 12 March you can register for the minor course of your choice (that means downloading the learning agreement) via the information page of the minor course at www.kiesopmaat.nl.
We have organised four information sessions.
Round 1: 1.30 – 2.00 p.m.
Round 2: 2.15 – 2.45 p.m.
Round 3: 3.00 – 3.30 p.m.
Round 4: 3.45 – 4.15 p.m.
You don’t have to register in advance: you can simply go to the website and use the links to attend the sessions of your choice. For HU students we have ensured that your schedule allows for you to attend.
It is useful to consider in advance which minor course you prefer and what questions you have about these minor courses so that you come prepared.
Attention: the links to the information sessions only work minutes before the start of a session.
Absent minor courses
At this moment there are no cancellations of English thaught minor courses, but if that happens it will be mentioned here.
Are you a HU student? At the end of this page you can find some tips to prepare for the minor market as good as possible.
Tip 1: Check out www.minors.hu.nl
You will find all the information about the HU minor courses on this website as well as the links to the online information sessions. Select four minor courses that meet your wishes and interests and are taught in the appropriate period. Please also check the entry requirements.
Tip 2: Make a list of your favourites and make sure that you gather information
Decide in advance on the sessions that you would like to attend and make a note of all your questions. All the sessions include time to ask questions.
Tip 3: Enter three preferred minor courses in Osiris between 12 and 19 March
Between 12 and 19 March, you can register in Osiris for three preferred minor courses taught in periods AB, CD or continuously, in the order of your preference. Check your email on 8 April to see in which minor course you have won a place. Your enrolment will then be visible in Osiris too (‘Overview of Enrolments’ tab).
From 12 April to 25 June 2021, you can enrol yourself through Osiris into the minor courses (when you missed the registration time slot in March) that will start in September 2021. The opportunity to enrol in minor courses that will start in February 2022 will close on 19 November 2021. Beware: the chances are that some minor courses will be fully booked by 12 April!
