For whom

At HU’s Globalising Business minor programme, we welcome exchange students from a variety of countries and university programmes. Regular HU students attending this minor join us from different faculties. The programme therefore has a multicultural and multidisciplinary approach and fits all student profiles.

Entry requirements

All you need to enter this programme is an interest in business and management, a curious attitude and a willingness to interact with different cultures.

Content

Globalising Business deals with the integration of different markets and the changing landscape for organisations. In this minor, we look at how business can be innovative and socially responsible and find opportunities to internationalise in a globalising world.

Central to this minor is the Erasmus+ funded project INTENSE (International Entrepreneurship Skills Europe), focused on internationalisation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME). You will take up the role of consultant and give real business advise on how to internationalise in Europe. This project is done in cooperation with our partner universities in Finland, Germany, Croatia and Belgium. There will be an international week in Berlin in November. This minor will firmly establish that you have the theoretical background and the skills needed to work in international business.

  • Professional portfolio
