Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of National Education

Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of National Education carries out work and operations in order to ensure sustainable quality by reducing the achievement gaps between schools throughout the province, to increase academic success by taking educational measures, to reduce the achievement gaps between schools, to support the professional development of teachers and administrators and to make a data-based management process functional. Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of National Education provides education and training services to 212,270 students with 13,384 teachers in 989 schools and institutions affiliated to it. Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of National Education; With its institutional structure and function, it is the institution responsible for all formal and non-formal education carried out throughout the province. In this context, all schools/institutions within the scope of basic education (pre-school, primary school, secondary school, religious education), secondary education, vocational and technical education, religious education at secondary education level and lifelong learning carry out their activities under the Directorate.

My name is Adem ÖZSOY, I have been working in the project team at Türkiye-Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of National Education R&D Unit since 2014. We took part as a project partner in the Numeracy in Practice project, which was carried out with the aim of providing the target group with the opportunity to improve the quality of their numerical behavior through mathematics activities and numerical courses, thus contributing to their welfare level and personal development, continuing their lifelong learning, and improving their perspective on coping with digital innovations in the new era. Individually in the project; I took part in translating the outputs and research data into the target language and carrying out local multiplier events.
