Dear Staff and Students,

A special time has arrived for Muslims: the holy month of Ramadan starts on March 23, 2023. It is a time of reflection, contemplation, and solidarity. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk and break the fast with the “iftar” meal. The Iftar is the time during Ramadan when Muslims break the fast daily. They prefer to do this together with others. It is therefore traditional to invite people and work to connect. On April 6, the Diversity & Inclusion Network and HU HOME are organizing an iftar for staff and students. The goal is to celebrate the interconnectedness of students and staff at our college.

The month of Ramadan is a great opportunity to meet, deepen contact and bring together people from diverse backgrounds. Everyone is welcome to attend!

The Program
Guided by the host of the day Emre Cicek, lecturer in Social Work and Promoter Network Diversity & Inclusion, we have the following program ready.

We look forward to an experiential and meaningful evening with beautiful encounters, good food, curious questions, inspiration, and fellowship. An evening to connect and continue to work together to create a working and learning environment where everyone feels truly at home within the HU.
