The Diversity & Inclusion Network core team is looking for 2 core team members specifically for the Education and Collaboration & Connecting portfolios. Will you join our team?

The Diversity & Inclusion Network
The Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Network was established in 2020 and consists of HU staff and students. The D&I Network contributes to the ambition of the HU: to work towards a promising, equal, and accessible university of applied sciences.

The Network D&I consists of individual initiatives from staff and/or students in the area of diversity and inclusion, the Diversity Officer, and a core team.

The core team
The core team consists of 6 employees and has an overarching advisory, connecting, informative, and coordinating role within the Network D&I. The core team is particularly concerned with: Driving community building, a sense of belonging, and visibility in the area of diversity and inclusion. And raising opportunities to promote diversity and inclusion within HU.

  • Integrity and transparency in working methods and actions
  • Strong affinity with diversity and inclusion issues

Portfolios
The colleagues of the Education Portfolio focus, among other things, on collecting, developing, and sharing good practices in the field of inclusive education. Colleagues in the Collaboration and Connections Portfolio are concerned with increasing the visibility and awareness of D&I by, among other things, organizing events and driving dialogue about D&I.

Representation
Based on the belief that diversity contributes to our teaching and research, candidates with different backgrounds, experiences, and limitations are emphatically invited to apply.

What do we offer you?
Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for a portfolio within the core team of the D&I network. The network consists of committed and enthusiastic students and staff who have a strong affinity for diversity and inclusion topics. The core team is fully committed to advancing the diversity policy and activities within this framework within the HU. For this task, a time commitment of 4.5 hours per week is budgeted and customized training is offered.
