For teachers and students, we have developed special Sustainable Development Goal workshops to deepen your knowledge about the SDGs and explore how you can apply them in your (future) field of work.
Hogeschool Utrecht offers various sustainable honors programs and minors. These programs are designed to inspire and challenge students to contribute to a more sustainable world.
Green Office Takes Over Your Class!
Would you like to bring more sustainability into education? Want to involve the students of Green Office HU in your teaching?
For both students and staff at HU, GOHU offers workshops focused on sustainability and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Everyone finds some aspect of sustainability interesting and important, and our Green Office colleagues are here to explore that with you.
These are the workshops we can offer to your group:

An SDG Workshop: In this workshop, we dive deeper into the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. What are these goals, and which ones best fit your study program and yourself? The workshop lasts 1 to 1.5 hours.

A Sustainable Campus Tour: During this interactive tour, you will discover all the green features at USP. The tour takes approximately 1.5 hours.

A Green Pub Quiz: We can tailor the questions to specific sustainability facts within your sector, including a sustainable prize for the winning team.

Climate Fresk Workshop: Learn playfully about the impacts of climate change. Together, you work on creative solutions and gain new insights. The workshop lasts 3 hours.

Green Talks: This is a lecture by a sustainability professional within your sector. We offer these talks monthly by default but can also work together to find the right professional for your group. Talks usually last between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours.
Every workshop is personalized for the group we’re working with. By offering these workshops, we hope to build a stronger community around the Sustainable Development Goals. The goals are by and for everyone, so we aim to think and act together on these goals both inside and outside HU. Over the years, Green Office has held various workshops with students from programs like Facility Management, Social Work, and the minor International Development. Additionally, Green Office was invited to give a workshop during HU’s Wellbeing Week.
