3rd-year student at Creative Business
A big aspect of the Creative Business study is to focus on being innovative and finding creative solutions. CB consists of many diverse students, plenty of whom also want to start their own business someday or want to go into marketing. Thus, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the course Entrepreneurship is one that many students look forward to! You will be developing your own business throughout the semester and it will lead up to pitching this idea to real investors. This is done in a Dragon’s Den setting and the valuable feedback you get from the investors is something you should cherish and learn from!

In this course, you’ll learn how to tackle the basics of setting up a business, such as doing the right research as well as creating a WOW, mantra, and a product demo for your final presentation. You’ll also have to do a competitor analysis and come up with a business model that fits your company goals. Overall, the course provides you with lots of knowledge and experience that you will be able to use in future assignments and your internship as well! The teachers also have tons of experience and are willing to encourage and guide the students, so don’t worry if it feels a bit overwhelming! They will be able to lend a hand if you are stuck.
Entrepreneurship will give you a good opportunity to go through a trial and error process in a safe environment. And, if you do the course and pitch well, there will be an opportunity to further develop your concept during your internship or with the investors!
We can’t wait to see more of the innovative concepts our students come up with next year!
