Right from when I started studying Creative Business, I knew I would be going abroad in my third year. I’ve always been beyond excited about it, so was thrilled when the time was finally there Luckily, I got one of my three options: Madrid! ? I ended up finding a place right in the city center. I absolutely loved it, whenever I opened my front door, I was in the middle of one of the most vibrant cities in Europe. ?⠀

I went to school at CEU San Pablo where I’ve met amazing people from so many different nationalities. Together we explored the city and I can safely say it is now one of my favorite cities in Europe (next to Utrecht, of course, hehe). There are free salsa classes for students, sangria workshops and the city has a lot to offer. ? You can go and see one of the free museums or explore its beautiful parks and rose gardens. One of my favorite daytime cafés was Terraza Athena where you can drink cocktails, enjoy the sun and bath your feet in tiny pools to cool down. ? At night I loved to go to Sala Equis, an old cinema that’s been turned into a bar! ?️ There are so many cool places to visit that it’s always hard to even decide where to go. If you get the opportunity to live there, definitely go for it. I promise you won’t regret it.
