Hi! I am Densay, alumni of Creative Business and I’d like to shed some light on how this study helped me land my current position: Growth Hacker and Conversion Optimization Specialist at Loyals – an online brand and communication agency. I chose this study due to its international aspect and the possibility of studying (and working) abroad for a maximum of 2 semesters. This gave me the ideal chance of growing on a personal and professional plan, by learning so much about different cultures and customs. In all honesty, at first, I thought the study was quite broad, but looking back at it, I realized that learning from different sectors (marketing, media, business innovation), which are still very much interconnected, helped me become a growth hacker. Becoming successful in the growth hacking field, it means you must have a combination of various soft and hard skill sets. These range from social media marketing to A/B testing and experimenting, from copywriting to designing. However, the most important one is having a specific mindset. CB played a key role in developing my ‘growth mindset’, which opened many possibilities for me later on in my professional career.
If I were to go back in time I would give myself a piece of advice when I was looking for a Bachelor study, it’d be: “No study will be perfect, and no study can teach you everything. However, you must find a study that will help develop the right mindset and provide you with a great network for your professional career”
