Met de uitrol van het nieuwe huisvestingsconcept en het flexwerken, zijn we ook gestart met het faciliteren van de Werkplek van de Toekomst. Dat betekent dat we je de mogelijkheid bieden overal op een veilige manier te kunnen werken met iedere device. Hiervoor maken we gebruik van een VPN verbinding waarbij je moet inloggen. Binnenkort gaan we over op een nieuwe manier van inloggen. Deze nieuwe manier van inloggen is een toekomstgerichte oplossing voor identificatie van medewerkers en komt tegemoet aan de mate van veiligheid die vereist is voor toegang tot gegevens. Tot nu toe gebruikte je een extra code via SMS. Dit kan nog tot 15 februari. Vanaf die datum log je in met een code via de Microsoft Authenticator App. Hieronder en op AskHU vind je informatie over hoe je moet inloggen. Tot 15 februari 2018 kun je ook de oude manier van inloggen nog gebruiken.
Dus wat verandert er?
1 Inloggen met code via SMS wordt een code via Authenticator App
2 Verbinding maken met de software “Cisco Anyconnect” wordt verbinding maken met “F5 Big IP-Edge”
Ik werk op een HU laptop:
1 registreer via de Microsoft Authenticator App. De instructie vindt je hier.
2 Maak verbinding met de software’ F5 Big IP-Edge’ in je startmenu. Deze software staat vanaf 10 januari op je HU laptop.
Ik werk op een eigen laptop:
1 registreer via de Microsoft Authenticator App Je vindt de handleiding hier.
2 Download de software ‘F5 Big IP-Edge’. De handleiding om te downloaden en installeren vind je hier.
3 Maak verbinding met de software ‘F5 Big IP-Edge’
Pincode op smartphone:
Voor het lezen van e-mail op je smartphone is een pincode/vergrendelingscode verplicht. Vanaf 15 februari is het niet meer mogelijk zonder pincode/vergrendeling op je toestel de HU e-mail te ontvangen. Hoe je dit instelt kun je hier lezen. Met deze instellingen verhoogt de HU het security niveau, en voldoe je aan de reeds geldende ICT-gedragsregels. Zie AskHU. Heb je al een pincode ingesteld, dan kan het zijn dat je een melding ontvangt dat de beveiligingsinstellingen zijn aangepast. Je hoeft dan geen verdere actie te ondernemen.

Working remotely (VPN) & Email on your smartphone
With the roll-out of the new housing concept and flexible working, we also have started facilitating the Workplace of the Future. This means that we offer you the possibility to work safely anywhere with any device. For this we use a VPN connection where you have to log in. For VPN, a new way of logging in will apply. This new way of logging in is a future-oriented solution for identification of employees and meets the level of security required for access to data.
Until now you used an extra code through SMS. This is possible until February 15. From that date on you log in with a code trough the Microsoft Authenticator App.
On AskHU you will find information on how to log in. Until February 15 you can still use the old way of logging in.
What changes?
1 Logging in with code trough SMS changes to code supplied by the Authenticator App
2 Connection trough the “Cisco Anyconnect” will change to the “F5 Big IP Edge”
How does it work?
For HU laptops:
- Register via the Microsoft Authenticator App. You will find the instruction here.
- Connect to the ‘F5 Big IP Edge’ software in your start menu. This software will be on your HU laptop from January 10.
For own laptops:

Pin on smartphone
A PIN / lock code is required for reading email on your smartphone. From February 15 it is no longer possible to receive your HU email without a PIN / lock on your device. With these HU increases the security level, and we comply with the ICT rules. See AskHU (Dutch only).
How you set the PIN / lock code can be read here (Dutch only). If you have already set a PIN, you may receive a notification that the security settings have been modified. You do not have to take any further action.
