Student participation groups

Do you feel like you are losing track of all the assignments you need to do for the courses? Do you procrastinate or get distracted often? Or have you just picked up your studies again after a short or long break? Starting October 2019, the Student Support Centre (SSC) will start up student participation groups, which ySou are free to join.

The purpose of this group, which will meet up every week for 1.5 hours, is to keep track of your fellow student’s and your own personal study progress, while looking with a critical eye. The meetings usually consist of three parts:

  1. Meet up with your subgroup: which assignments did you complete during the past week?
  2. What assignment will have to be completed during the upcoming week and how do you stay in touch with your fellow subgroup students?
  3. Tell the group which assignment you will be working on next week.

We will then have a coffee/tea break and say part our ways again.
You can be a member of a student participation group for 6 months max. Please note: There are some requirements to taking part in a group: attendance is mandatory, and you will be taken out of the group if you have not been present for two or more meetings. Please register here to join the student participation group.
