Students committee
The Students Committee is working on raising awareness and urgency about themes related to diversity and inclusion. The committee does this by organizing activities for and by students in which students can come into contact with related subjects in an accessible way.

Education Committee
The aim of the Education Committee is that every study program is aware of the importance of diversity and inclusion within education and devotes structural attention to this to achieve this. On the one hand, it is about awareness (what should you pay attention to?), and on the other hand, it is about offering tools to get started.

Employees Committee
The Employees Committee makes a broad contribution to HU to a diverse and inclusive working environment. The committee aims to contribute to an inclusive work environment, where everyone feels seen and heard. The associated tasks of the committee are; entering into a dialogue with involved stakeholders, and putting various themes on the agenda regarding diversity and inclusion such as gender equality, working with visible or invisible support needs, mental health, etc.

Logistics and Facilities Committee
The Logistics and Facilities Committee is concerned with the accessibility and inclusiveness of the physical and digital environments of the HU campus. At the moment, the focus is mainly on two themes, namely; 1) accessibility for people with a (functional) disability or neurodiversity and 2) understandable and inclusive language. This involves the physical HU locations and the digital systems that HU employees and students may have to deal with.

Events Committee
The Events Committee is working on increasing the visibility of the network within the HU, creating awareness and sharing knowledge and insight into the various themes that affect diversity and inclusion, increasing involvement in the network, and creating more sense of belonging within the HU.

Research Committee
The Research Committee is committed to gaining insight into how themes related to diversity and inclusion are reflected in HU studies, both themes, and target group. This is of great importance as the studies lay the foundation for education and how it is designed.

Communication Committee
The Communication Committee is committed to increasing the visibility of the D&I network and all its activities. To this end, she provides the website and various social media channels with relevant content and advises the other committees in terms of communication.
