The toolbox is a collection of fun and interactive activities through which students could get to know each other and HU better.
In the spring of 2024, HUGS worked together with students, lecturers, and introduction coordinators to explore what was needed for the introduction period. It became clear that first-year students were especially looking for connection with fellow students and with lecturers.
To support this the toolbox offers a variety of playful formats that provide an accessible and enjoyable first step toward building those connections. It was designed for students, by students.
The toolbox is fully available in both Dutch and English. You could still get started directly with the online version or contact the HU Community for a printed version.
Important information for lecturers and learning team supervisors
To make it easier to provide the right information to new students, a document has been drawn up containing the most important (HU wide) information for the first 100 days. This information is for all new HU students during their start at our university of applied sciences and makes an important contribution to a good start.
