The HU Ukraine Project is getting more and more traction within the HU community. This is exactly why Green Office contacted us, for a very special opportunity.
As we all know, winter is coming up. With the concerning gas prices and inflation, a lot of Dutch people are worried about how they will get through this winter. However, Ukrainian refugees all over the country have one extra problem, clothing. The refugees often did not have the time or possibility to take their clothing with them and therefore have little winter clothing. This issue is getting more and more pressing with the temperature dropping fairly quickly.
So when Green Office HU contacted us, to participate in the clothing swap, we were thrilled. After the Feel at Home Festival, our colleagues Margriet and Lune were able to go through the clothing. Everything we thought was useful, has been donated to Vital’nya ANNE. They will spread these pieces within the Ukrainian community in Utrecht.
