Critical thinking and global citizenship

Blok C

Have you ever met a homeless person or given a euro to one who needed a sleeping place?
Was it the right thing to do?
What was your reasoning behind this simple act of kindness?
Are you now thinking about the complexities of society?
What do our politicians say about these homeless people?
Is it a consequence of their own making?
Do YOU feel responsible for their plight?
What is your gut feeling?
Or intuition?
Is your heart speaking to you right now?

If you have read through all these questions, and you find thoughts and questions
swirling in your brain, you are on the right track. You are a critical thinker!!
Have these questions filled you with a desire to make a change, to DO something, no matter what? Then you have taken a step towards becoming a global citizen, a global game-changer!!

Are you ready to make a difference?

“I liked how each class was different. Each class gave me a new perspective on how to see the world and media differently. I liked how there were guest speakers who have personal insights into their life and knowledge. I also like the interactive activities in each class with group work and activities. (Honours student, 2022)

“The mixture of different students and therefore opinions. There is a constant debate and it makes you think more about stuff that you thought had a clear answer.“ (Honours student, 2022)
