Hereby I would like to invite you to the Opening of the Academic Honours Year 2018-2019. This event will take place on Monday 15 October at the Aula of the Academiegebouw between 19.00 and 21.00 hrs.
The opening speech is held by Rector Magnificus Prof Henk Kummeling. The Student Honours Council will present themselves after this speech.
After a musical interlude by honours students, Dirk Drost, honours student Biomedical Sciences, speaks about his personal experiences with honours education. Thereafter Honours Dean Prof Michael Burke presents the Honours Teacher of the Year Award 2018.
At 20.00 hrs you are welcome to join us for a drink and make a toast to a new and successful Academic Honours Year.
