On Thursday 13th and Friday 14th June 2019 Windesheim Honours College will host an exciting event on the role of Education and Research in sustainable development.
We invite you to submit ideas for a workshop, a lecture, a game or anything else you would like to share with the participants during this event. The UN Sustainable Development Goals and the role of Education is the main focus.
Do you have an inspiring example of how you integrate the SDGs in your education, do you conduct research related to sustainable development/SDGs or did you, as a student, do an interesting project related to the SDGs that you would like to share with others at the SDG Generation Event?
There are four tracks in which you can submit your proposal:
• What is the role of education in addressing the SDGs?
• What is the role of personal development in addressing the SDGs?
• What is the role of creativity in addressing the SDGs?
• What is the role of partnerships in addressing the SDGs?
On the Friday morning, there will be an opportunity for students to show their projects, products and other inspiring examples to contribute to a more sustainable world. How you wish to do this, is entirely up to you, it can be a TedTalk, a presentation, a poem, a short movie. It is up to you!
Inspire, Learn and Share: together we move towards a more sustainable education!
Submit your proposal or idea before 1st of March 2019 by using the form and to return by mail to:
