Study Abroad
Bachelor students can do a study abroad in the 3rd year. The following criteria are important:
- Student is a third year student at the Bachelor Nursing UAS Utrecht.
- Student has finished the propedeuse
- Student is at least at level B2 with the English language
Select one or both options
- Study Abroad is not a mandatory part of your study
- You can go abroad during your minor
- During your 3rd study year you can go abroad
Criteria and Selection
- First year certificate
- Approval of the exam board and intake coordinator/study abroad coordinator
- Language requirements: English at B2

Internship or Graduation Abroad
Student can do an internship abroad during the 2nd and 3rd year of the education.
At the moment we only offer Germany (Neumarkt) as internshipplacement for the major education.
The other possibility of doing an internship/placementship abroad is during the minor International Health Studies.
Describe here when students at your institute have the opportunity to go abroad for their internship or graduation and which criteria apply
Select one or both options
- Internship abroad is not a mandatory part of your programme
- You can go on an internship abroad during your major (Germany) and minor (minor IHS)
- During your 2nd/3rd study year you can do an internship abroad
- You are not allowed to graduate abroad
Criteria and Selection
- Student must be 2nd or 3rd year student at the Bachelor Education.
- Student must have an approval of the coordinator to participate.

Other Opportunities Abroad
Every year Bachelor of Nursing organises studytrips for the 2nd year students. In November it is a standard studytrip to Finland, Germany or Belgium This is during the international week in block B.
At the international week at blok D we receive teachers and students from abroad to teach and study with our Dutch 2nd year students.
Internationalization @ Home
During the 2nd year we also have internationalisation at home. Bachelor of nursing organises international weeks , twice a year. For the non- traveling students we provide a Internationalization @ Home program.
During the international summerschool in Utrecht, we provide several courses for our students.
